12ft Trampoline Guide

A 12ft trampoline is an ideal size for both adults and children. With a surface area of over 113ft it provides enough space for both kids and adults to jump on. The larger te trampoline the more powerful the bounce so you should only buy a 12ft trampoline if you have a garden well over 12ft with plenty of clear space around the trampoline should the user jump or fall off.

12ft trampolines usually have between 72 and 84 springs and a spring length of around 8.5 inches. However it is recommend that a 12ft trampoline have at least 80 springs and 8.5 inch springs to distribute the weight and reduce breakages.

Weight Limit

An average 12ft trampoline should have a weight limit of around 100kg or 220 pounds. The weight limit of trampolines does not seem to depend on the size of the trampoline but instead the thickness of the steel frame and the size and strength of the springs.
